Scenario

ACT 1- Action opens at the home of Gracious (stepmother), her Husband, Herbert and her three daughters-Gertrude, Ermintrude & Gratitude. The Jester introduces each character and they proceed to berate Cinderella with orders "The thing that we hate most". Gracious and her daughters leave for a morning of shopping and Cinderella is alone with her thoughts "Love Me for Me"

At King Oswald's palace preparations are underway for Prince Leopold's birthday, the king announces the Prince will choose a bride at the royal ball. The kingdom rejoices "Did you hear" but the Prince is far from pleased and leaves the palace

The Prince's stewards deliver the royal invitation to Cinderella's stepsisters.

*Meanwhile, in the woods Cinderella meets with her friend Leo, she is unaware he is actually the Prince. They talk about the up coming Royal Ball and imagine what it will be like "Dream Ballet"  Leo asks Cinderella to attend the ball.

*Back at home Gracious and the Stepsisters are preparing for the ball "What is Beauty".

Gracious promises Cinderella that she can go to the ball if she completes all her chores, which she does, with the help of a few friendly mice "Don't Worry". When Cinderella tells her stepmother her chores are completed Gracious refuses to let Cinderella go  "Come one come all to the Ball"

Cinderella is upset that she can't go to the ball, then j her two apprentice fairygodmothers, Flora & Bell arrive. Flora & Bell try to make Cinderella a dress but mess it all up, then Cottingberry, the real fairy Godmother arrives to save the situation with the help of the Audience "Sing" Cinderella now has a gown, coach and her glass slippers and is going to the ball." Come one come all to the Ball"

ACT 2- The royal ball is in progress, "Come one, come all to the Ball" the Prince is most unhappy about the prospect of finding a bride. Gracious and the Stepsisters try in vain to win the prince's affections. Cinderella looks on from outside the windows, she has second thoughts about attending. Her fairy Godmothers convince her and she runs off to meet Leo. "Tonight You're a Princess" The Prince sees Cinderella and instantly falls in love, spending the rest of the evening dancing with only her. "I'll Dance With No-one But You"

The fairygodmothers arrive to warn Cinderella of the forgotten fairygodmother warning about the magic ending at midnight. Cinderella is so in love she forgets all about it, remembering only as the clock strikes 12. She runs from the princes arms and he follows. The Stepsisters, realize they have no hope of winning the prince "We are Undone" and leave the Palace.

The fairy godmothers, trying to ensure that the prince finds Cinderella leave one of her glass slippers on the palace steps. The prince, finding the shoe, swears to search until he finds the girl whose foot it fits. "I'll Keep on Dancing With You (reprise)"

The Prince and stewards begin their quest to find the owner of the slipper. Cinderella remembers her evening at the ball.  Gracious is sure one of her three daughters will become the prince's bride "I know that I'm in Love"

The Prince and his Stewards arrive at Cinderella's home, Cinderella returns from her chores, it is at this moment Cinderella discovers that she has fallen in love with the prince. The Prince recognizes her instantly. The slipper is tried on the three stepsisters, the prince demands it also be tried on Cinderella, it fits! They leave immediately for the Castle much to the stepsisters dismay "I Hate Cinderella"  Herbert finally loses his temper at his wife and stepdaughters and leaves as well.

Back at the palace, Cinderella is introduced to the king and Queen, her Stepsisters arrive begging forgiveness and are forgiven. Gracious on the other hand feels she is in the right *"A Little bit of Courtesy" but the king sees the truth and she is banished from the kingdom. The prince and Cinderella Marry and they all live Happily ever after "Only Forever."
